Condition

Gentle, age-appropriate care for newborns through teens.

Kids' bodies are growing constantly, which means their spines are too. We use very gentle techniques, often just light fingertip pressure, to support healthy development at every stage.

How we help

Care designed for small bodies.

Pediatric chiropractic isn't a smaller version of adult care. It's a completely different approach using techniques designed for developing spines.

Our approach

  • Specialized pediatric training and experience with infants through teens.
  • Gentle fingertip-pressure adjustments for infants. No popping, no twisting.
  • Support for colic, sleep, latching, and early development concerns.
  • Posture screening and scoliosis monitoring as kids grow.
  • Sports injury support and performance care for active teens.
The result: kids who sleep better, move better, and grow into their bodies with healthy alignment from the start.
The honest version

If you'd care for your own back, your kid deserves the same.

Tiny bodies. Big benefits. Setting up healthy alignment, posture, and nervous system function early gives kids the best chance to feel and grow well their whole life.

What parents bring their kids in for

We focus on the spine and nervous system, and we never claim to treat or cure medical conditions. We will always tell you when something belongs with your pediatrician. That said, families commonly come in for support with an unsettled newborn or one having trouble latching, posture and spinal health as kids grow, scoliosis screening and monitoring, sports aches from Little League shoulder to a soccer ankle, and tight necks from screens and heavy backpacks.

Why a child's care is different

Pediatric chiropractic is not a smaller version of adult care. A baby's spine has been through a lot already, even after a smooth delivery, and it is still developing fast. So the care is completely adapted. For infants, we use only light fingertip pressure, about as much as you would use to test a ripe tomato. There is no popping, no twisting, and no force. Most babies stay calm, and many fall asleep.

What a kids' visit looks like here

You stay with your child the whole time. The office is friendly, low pressure, and never rushed. We explain what we are doing and why, in plain language. Older kids usually need far fewer visits than adults, and after a short starting plan many do well with an occasional check-in as they grow. We never push children into long-term contracts. Care is available at both our Matawan and Bradley Beach offices.

Common questions

Pediatric care FAQ

Is it safe for babies?
Yes. Infant adjustments use only light fingertip pressure, similar to checking the ripeness of a tomato. There's no popping, no twisting, no force.
When should kids start?
Any age, including newborns. Many parents bring infants for colic, latching, or sleep concerns. Older kids often come in after a fall, for posture, or during sports seasons.
How often do kids need adjustments?
Less than adults usually. After the initial care plan, many kids do well with maintenance check-ins as they grow. We'll always give you an honest recommendation, not a long-term contract.
