How we help

Made for pregnant patients.

Our tables, pillows, and techniques are specifically designed to keep you comfortable through every stage.

Our approach

  • Webster Technique training, the gold standard for prenatal chiropractic.
  • Gentle adjustments using specialized pregnancy pillows and tables.
  • Pelvic alignment support to help baby get into the optimal birth position.
  • Sciatica and hip pain relief without medication.
  • Recommendations for sleep, posture, and movement to use at home.
The result: a more comfortable pregnancy, a more aligned body for delivery, and a body that recovers faster postpartum.
The honest version

Your pregnancy doesn't have to hurt.

It's not a "just deal with it" situation. Hip pain, sciatica, and low back pain in pregnancy aren't normal, they're just common. There's real, safe relief and it doesn't involve medication.

The aches we help pregnant moms with

Pregnancy is a slow-motion remodel of your whole body. Hormones loosen your ligaments, your center of gravity shifts, your hips widen, and your spine adjusts to carry the bump. That can show up as low back pain, hip and pelvic pain, sciatica down the leg, round ligament pain, and trouble sleeping because nothing feels comfortable. None of that means something is wrong with you. It just means your body is changing fast, and it can use some support.

What "Webster-informed" means

The Webster Technique is the gold standard for prenatal chiropractic. It is a gentle way of balancing the pelvis and the ligaments around it. When the pelvis is balanced, the uterus has room to do its job and baby has the space to settle into a good position. Our tables, pillows, and adjustments are all adapted for a pregnant body, comfortable even into the third trimester.

What a prenatal visit is like here

Everything is built around your comfort. We use pregnancy pillows and tables so you can lie down safely, and every adjustment is specific, gentle, and tailored to your stage. Positioning is always your call, and if something does not feel right, we change it. You can start any trimester, and many moms come in right up to their due date. Care is available at both our Matawan and Bradley Beach offices.

Common questions

Prenatal care FAQ

Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?
Yes, when delivered by a chiropractor with prenatal training. Dr. Tom uses a Webster-informed approach designed specifically for pregnant patients. Many obstetricians refer their patients for prenatal chiropractic care.
When in pregnancy can I start?
Any trimester. Many patients begin in their first trimester for nausea and overall wellness, but we welcome you whenever you're ready, even right up to your due date.
Does it help with delivery?
Some patients report shorter, smoother deliveries when their pelvis is well-aligned, though every birth is different. The goal isn't to influence delivery directly, it's to help your body work as it was designed to.
